After nearly 14 years as the leading pediatric bariatric surgeon at Children's National in Washington, D.C., Dr. Nadler recognized that to improve care for children nationwide he needed to help others establish treatment programs across the country — and bring his message directly to the families living with obesity and complex disease.
His commitment is to improving the lives of children and adolescents through both surgical and non-surgical innovative treatments. Ensuring patients and their families feel safe and heard is paramount; he works to make every family comfortable with both the clinician and the plan of care.
Obesity isn't a lifestyle choice — it is a metabolic disease with complex causes rooted in genetics, epigenetics, and environment. Dr. Nadler's mission is to help over 100 million people battling obesity receive the care, support, and understanding they deserve, and to extend that same evidence-based, dignified model to children with disability and neurodevelopmental needs.
